Since 2020, I’ve been working with Fotografiska Tallinn as an ongoing creative partner. From intimate exhibition materials to full-scale campaigns, the work spans the entire spectrum— from posters, packaging, napkins to exhibition design and large scale campaigns.
The challenge is to keep the brand’s tone consistent while constantly shifting its shape. The team, the content, the events, the pace—it all evolves. Yet the experience needs to feel steady, clear, and unmistakably Fotografiska. That means the design work has to be adaptive without diluting the brand’s personality. It’s not about sticking to a manual. It’s about understanding the attitude.
My approach has always been people first. Every campaign or asset—whether it lives on a wall or on a coffee cup—starts with the question: Who’s it for, and how do we move them?
Sometimes that means crafting exhibition messaging. Other times, it’s building motion assets or packaging ideas that echo the curatorial tone.
Being this involved in a place like Fotografiska means showing up—not just to design, but to listen, question, and adapt. It’s more than a deliverables list. It’s long-term trust, earned through care and curiosity.
